Ombo Temple is situated about 25 miles north of Aswan on a bend in the River
Nile overlooking the river. Usually visited as part of a Nile Cruise itinerary.
With two temples within the complex. One temple dedicated to the Egyptian
God Sobek, the Crocodile God and the other to Horus the God of the Air shown
at Kom Ombo as a sparrowhawk.
